How do I create a group?
Open the Groups tab, tap the plus icon, pick the sports your group will follow, set the bet types and point weights, and share the invite link or QR with friends.
When do predictions lock?
Predictions lock at the official kickoff time of the fixture, supplied by our data provider. After kickoff your pick is final — there are no edits.
I missed a kickoff. Can I still submit a pick?
No. Locks are hard and apply equally to everyone in your group. That fairness is the whole point of Face Off.
A fixture was abandoned. What happens to my prediction?
Abandoned cricket, motorsport and tennis fixtures award zero points to every prediction on that fixture — no refund or bonus. For other sports we follow the official result published by our data provider.
How accurate are fixtures and results?
We always try to keep fixtures, kickoff times and results as up to date as possible. That said, this data comes from third-party sports data providers, so we rely on them for its accuracy and timing. Occasionally a result may arrive late, be corrected after the fact, or not come through at all. When a provider corrects a result we re-run scoring for that fixture and the leaderboard updates. If you spot something that looks wrong, email support@faceoff.co.za and we will look into it.
How do I change my group’s scoring rules?
Group admins can open Group → Settings to enable bet types and tune the max points per type, per sport.
How do I delete my account?
Email support@faceoff.co.za from the address attached to your account and we will action the deletion. An in-app delete option is on the roadmap. Full details on our Account Deletion page.
